Customer information

Faulty items

Your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something is wrong with your order, you have the rights set out below. They are in addition to your right to cancel within 14 days, and nothing on this page limits them.

What you can ask for

Within 30 days: a full refund

If the goods are faulty or not as described, you can reject them and get a full refund within 30 days. The 30 days start on the day after the goods are delivered to you.

After 30 days, or if you prefer: repair or replacement

You can ask us to repair or replace the goods. We will do this within a reasonable time, without significant inconvenience to you and at no cost to you. We may offer the other option if the one you choose is impossible or would cost us disproportionately more.

If a repair or replacement does not solve the problem

If a repair or replacement is not possible, has not fixed the fault, or is not done within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience, you can choose either a price reduction or a refund (the final right to reject). If you use the final right to reject within the first 6 months after delivery, we will give you a full refund with no deduction for use. After 6 months, a deduction for the use you have had may be made.

The first 6 months

If a fault shows up within 6 months of delivery, it is assumed to have been there at delivery unless we can show otherwise. After 6 months, you may be asked to show that the fault was there when the goods were delivered. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland you can generally bring a claim for up to 6 years from delivery (5 years in Scotland).

Digital content: the MAYDRIX Pack

The MAYDRIX Pack, whether included free with a radio order or bought on its own, must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a file does not work or is incomplete, tell us and we will replace it. If we cannot fix the problem within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you may be entitled to a price reduction, which for the standalone Pack can be up to the full price.

How to report a fault

  1. E-mail us at contact@maydrix.com.
  2. To help us deal with it quickly, include your order number, a short description of the problem and when it started, a few photos or a short video, and what you would like us to do (refund, repair or replacement). This information helps, but you do not need all of it for us to deal with your request.
  3. We will reply within 14 days, usually much sooner.

Sending a faulty item back

If we need to see the item, we will tell you where to send it and how. Please do not send anything back before we have confirmed the return details by e-mail. We cover the reasonable cost of returning a faulty item, and of any repair or replacement.

Refunds for faulty goods are made without undue delay and within 14 days of us agreeing that you are entitled to one, using the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. We do not charge any fee for a refund.

Returns address: MF Projects - Dawid Boreński, ul. Pisarka 25 lok. 12, 39-300 Mielec, Poland. Please note that our returns address is in Poland.

Manufacturer guarantee

We do not offer an extra commercial guarantee unless one is stated on the product page. Any guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not replace them.

If we cannot agree

If you are not happy with our response, you can get free, impartial advice from Citizens Advice (England and Wales), Advice Direct Scotland or Consumerline (Northern Ireland). You can also take a claim to court. We are not a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme, so we will try to resolve any complaint directly with you. If a complaint cannot be resolved, you can contact the Citizens Advice consumer service.
